Elements is a casual game that brings to the market a completely new matching mechanic. The game was conceived in QB9's Lab and was published by Mumbo Jumbo for all main casual game portals.
The roots of Elements are its geometry and fractal mechanics. Over a dynamic board with elements of different size and identical proportions, two elements are matched to generate a third one. This new mechanic we call two:one.
Based on this geometry and mechanics, we started working on the theme. From the beginning we envisioned that the mythic elements would reflect clearly the spirit we wanted for the game. Ancient Greeks related each of the elements with a regular polyhedron: cube-earth, octahedron-air, tetrahedron-fire, icosahedra-water, and the fifth elements represented by the dodecahedron, cosmos. These elements were the ideal tokens for the game.
The geometric principles of the mechanic, the alchemy as base subject and the Greek based polyhedron elements representation lead us to use a Renaissance theme. The main characters of the story are Leaonardo Da Vinci, who's work in alchemy is still a mystery, and his friend Luca Pacioli, a mathematician that studied the polyhedron.
Embark in this great adventure and solve an ancient alchemic mystery to find the biggest treasure of all: the Philosopher's Stone.
